Get to know the Labradoodle breed!

We specialize in allergy-friendly, non-shedding labradoodles.

Labradoodles are known for being friendly, intelligent, and energetic dogs:

  • Temperament Labradoodles are friendly, loyal, and eager to please. They are also known for being playful, curious, and easy to train.
  • Energy level Labradoodles are high-energy dogs that need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. They can become destructive if they don’t get enough exercise or mental stimulation.
  • Family-friendly Labradoodles are great family dogs and get along well with children and other pets. However, they can become erratic if household members are too lively.
  • Hypoallergenic Labradoodles are sometimes considered hypoallergenic because they have hair instead of fur and shed less dander. However, no dog is guaranteed to be hypoallergenic.
  • Grooming Labradoodles need regular brushing to keep their coats clean and reduce shedding. They should be bathed as needed and have their teeth brushed three times a week. Their nails should be trimmed every two months.
  • Coat Labradoodles can have a variety of coat types, including fleece, wool, or hair. Their coats can be many colors, including cream, apricot, caramel, chocolate, black, red, silver, and multi-colored patterns.
  • Size Labradoodles can weigh between 50–75 pounds and can be about 25 inches tall when fully grown.
  • Other characteristics Labradoodles have floppy ears, round eyes, and a medium-length tail.

What is Doodle Pup Paradise?

Doodle Pup Paradise is a home-based breeder specializing in allergy-friendly, non-shedding, and family-centered labradoodles.

How are the puppies raised?

All our puppies are born and lovingly raised with us in our home. They are socialized with the other adult dogs in the household as well as children.

What is the main priority of Doodle Pup Paradise?

Our main priority is to place our beautiful puppies in good hands and safe homes while helping you grow your family.

What is the adoption fee for a labradoodle Puppy?

Each puppy is $1,200. Pickup or delivery expenses would be the buyer’s responsibility.

How do I get on a waiting list for a puppy?

Once you have submitted your “Adoption Application” and a deposit of $200.00, your name is placed on a waiting list in the order the application was received. You will remain on the list until you have chosen a puppy to adopt. You may choose to defer to the next litter, in which case your name will move to the top of the next list.

Will my puppy have it’s shots?

Our puppies are raised in our home from birth. When age dictates (8 weeks of age), each puppy is given the initial regiment of puppy vaccinations. In addition, each dog is dewormed prior to leaving our home. We provide regular veterinary care throughout the puppies’ early life.

How often do labradoodles need groomed?

We recommend grooming your Labradoodle every 6-8 weeks. Regular grooming helps to keep their coat clean, manageable, and mat-free. Grooming can be done at home or at your local pet groomer.

Where is Doodle Pup Paradise located?

Doodle Pup Paradise is a home-based breeder, located in McCook, Nebraska.

Labradoodles are calm-natured, intuitive, easily trained, and well-mannered companions for all ages.

When will I be able to take my new puppy home?

If you live locally or are able to pick your puppy up in person, he/she will be ready to go at 8-9 weeks of age.

How do I go about training my Labradoodle to use the toilet?

We recommend crate training for housebreaking your puppy. Start by taking your puppy out regularly and praising them when they do their business outside. Always clean up accidents immediately to discourage them from going in the same spot.

What if I have a “life-changing event” and I am unable to keep my pet?

We are happy to provide ongoing support if you have any questions or problems with your Labradoodle. If the need ever arises we are willing to help with re-homing your pet.

What do I need to prepare for my new labradoodle?

You will need a crate, food and water bowls, toys, a collar and leash, and grooming supplies. You should also prepare by puppy-proofing your home to keep your new pet safe. Please see the information, new puppy checklist, located on the available puppies page.
